Aroid Plants

  Aroids are members of the Araceae plant family and include several varieties of common houseplants like aglaonemas, monsteras, philodendrons, and pothos plants. Aroids are great for beginners as they are generally low light plants that require minimal watering. Many Aroid plants are considered "rare" as they are not typically what you see or are not readily available for purchase. Plants like the philodendron Pink Princess or the Monstera Thai were in huge demand 3 or 4 years ago and were highly sought after but now they are fairly easy to find as there are more nurseries growing them and they are still a great addition to your houseplant collection!
