This a popular variety because of its vivid foliage colors and varied leaf shapes. All of this comes with a little increased care requirements though. Crotons need a constant temperature above 60° as well as an abundance of light and air humidity to thrive. The PETRA is a broad-leaf variety, which is the most popular type we carry. We are starting to see a lot more of the Croton varieties in the outdoor container gardens for their vibrant colors and they hold up great in full sun.
