There is a wide array of both cactus and succulents on the market today due to the relative ease of care. A sunny location and minimal watering makes life easy for the owner of these plants. Watering should be increased in the spring and in late spring and late summer treat as an ordinary houseplant by watering thoroughly when the soil begins to dry out. In late fall and through winter keep almost dry, just enough to keep from shriveling. This watering method will promote a strong flowering season for the spring.
